I have a love for children. As Mother Teresa once said, "“How can there be too many children? That is like saying there are too many flowers."
This website all started because of a school project. Through this project, I have researched and have found key points that, with the help of everyone, can help children fight serious diseases .

This is my project, research, and findings that I would love to share with all of you.

How can we (as a growing society) help to prevent and/or detect early childhood diseases?   Not only do parents of young children should know, but anyone and everyone should know to help our future generations. In the past few years, many nurses and doctors have seen a rise in obesity, anemia, dehydration incidents, leukemia, ADHD, and autism. There are varies reasons for the increase of each and every single one of these; there aren't conclusive theories as to why they have increased in the past few years. However, though my research, I have found one variable that is the key to a successful diagnosis and treatment of the child: the parents; I believe they are the key. With the help of parents along with a child’s healthcare provider, we can help either catch these diseases, along with others, at an early stage thus increasing treatment options or even prevent the risks associated with some of these diseases.
Keeping up with well check-up are important; from two month, four month, six month, nine month, twelve month, fifteen month, eighteen month, and yearly check-ups . Each check-up has a different purpose; each check-up has specific tests to make sure a child is “on track” and developing normally. If a parent does not keep up with theses check-ups, a doctor along with the parents cannot catch any abnormalities, if there are any. These are what I believe to be the biggest key factors in preventing and detecting early childhood diseases: parental involvement and regular check-ups. If we help parents out and teach them how to properly take care of their children, I believe we can significantly help children fight back some of these serious diseases.

Presentation night is the night my fellow peers and I  present our research. It is the night we collaborate our findings and present it to one another, teachers, family, friends, and mentors.
